Pushbroom Cowboy

I was invited to a costume Halloween party in 1993 with the theme "Famous Pairs". My little big sister made me an awesome Indian headdress based on an authentic design when I was in high school. Halloween is pretty much the only time I ever get to wear it, so I'm pretty much always an Indian chief for Halloween. So for the "Famous Pairs" party, I made this cowboy with a big mustache out of an old pushbroom to bring with me! He originally had a popgun in his left pocket to add to the authenticity.

 Plastic Bag Sailor

I always tie a knot in plastic bags before I throw them away, and this one looked so much like a sailor that I drew in his face and hat with a black marker and stuck it on the wall. Wish I had a picture of it from back when I originally made it because the past 20 years has not been so kind to this old tar!
