Card Games
With a regular deck of cards:
1. Cut Throat -- a great game for two
2. Mao -- a crazy memory game for 4 or more
3. Gopher - an unusual game invented by a boy and his dad
With specialty decks of cards:
(You'll have to buy these.)
4. Super Circles - a visual game of speed!
NOTE: The publisher of this game went out of business in 2015, so you'll have to find a vendor who still has it in stock or buy it on eBay or something.
5. Set - a "left brain / right brain" game of visual perception. Teens and children often beat adults.
6. No Thanks! "The Play or Pay Game" - Each turn you have do decide: Do I want to take the points card or pay the fee to not take it? Lowest score wins. Great family game because age does not equal more skill in this unusual strategy game.
